Course Description
If you want to make a difference in the world, studying Geography is a good place to start. This course equips you with map reading skills and other data interpretation skills. It builds an understanding of the spatial distribution of natural and man-made phenomena such as coastal and fluvial features as well as population and settlement. This course also explores geographical issues and modern social issues, both in Aotearoa New Zealand as well as around the world. You will learn critical thinking and decision-making skills and understand the concept of Kaitiakitanga in action.
