An STP allows you to learn and achieve partly at school and partly with a tertiary provider. Most of these programme mean you are at school three days a week and off site for two days. Some programmes have a mixture of four days at school and one day with the provider. These courses have a significant component of practical, hands-learning. Those which operate at Level 2 provide the opportunity for you to progress to Level 3 at school or at a Tertiary institution or to apply for an apprenticeship
