Course Description
This subject level focuses on learning to communicate in French across many everyday situations. You will gain confidence in reading and speaking French and understanding spoken interactions in French in real life situations. NCEA Level one requires you to speak and write in French on a range of topics that are centred around you - for example your family, your identity, what you like to do and where you live. You will be able to hold basic conversations in French and improve your ability to write and talk about what has happened in the past and what may happen in the future. You will also have the opportunity to participate in an overseas trip to a French speaking country.
