Tea Packet

Choosing Tea

The first step was to choose a tea that we like. There were many choices of tea, including Chai, green tea, White Emperor tea, and more. I tasted all of them, and the one I liked most was called Egyptian Licorice. I chose it because of the smooth taste and sweet aftertaste.

Making a Tea Packet

I came up with an idea for my tea packet, and after sketching my idea on a draft I got to work. To color it, I used colored pencils. I spent about 2 hours in total on it, and I think it turned out good. I think it captures the name and the feel of the tea well.

Reflection

1. What do you know now that you didn't before we started case study 3, that was all about the history of tea?

I didn't know that tea culture started in China, and that it spread to other countries.

2. What advice do you have to someone else who is creating a tea packet?

I would tell someone who is creating a tea packet to try to make an original and expressive design that is still simple.

3. What would you research or add to your project that you didn't have time for?

I would have liked to smooth out some of the shading on the tea packet.

4. What proof do you have that you met our learning targets? (I can create a tea packet that represents me and connects to what I've learned in World Studies.)

My proof is that I created my tea packet.
