The purpose of the video project is to learn how planning and outlining are importaint to get high-quality results.
For me and Owen's independent project, we decided to make a series of comedy skits. For our first one, we decided to make a skit about an incompetent comedian.
We wrote a script, and filmed for a day. We edited the video, and it turned out really good.
For our next skit, we decided to make a self-defense instructional video. We wrote the script, and hired Jason to be in the skit. We filmed for a few days, and then edited the video. I think it turned out pretty funny.
Describe the final results:
The skits are funny, and we enjoyed making them.
What do you know now that you didn't know when you started this project?
At the beginning of the project, I didn't know that the lighting for green screen has to be perfect.
What advice would you give to future students about this project?
I would advise future students to make a film that they would want to watch, and be creative with your film.
What else would you like to try that you didn't have time for?
I would have liked to spend more time editing, but we ran out of time.
What proof do you have that shows you learned the project’s purpose?
My proof is that we made two good videos.
