This year, I decided to make my learner goal to take responsibility for assignments and goals and develop stronger work ethic. Some steps I decided on are to set regular check ins, to reflect on assignments and goals regularly, and to fill out my journal every day.
Going into my mid year learner goals, I would definitely say that I have made some progress on my goal. I have been filing out my journal every day for the past 90 or so days, and my work ethic has been slowly improving. I have more motivation to get things done, and I am putting more effort into them.
How do you feel about the progress you have made towards your goal?
I feel like I have made good progress towards my goal halfway into the year.
What specific steps have you taken to achieve or work towards your goal?
I have been filling out my journal every day, and I have been taking more responsibility for my assignments.
Are there any barriers or challenges keeping you from achieving your learner goal? If so, what are they? What support might you need?
I don't feel like there are any barriers or challenges keeping me from my goal, but I still need to work on the next part of my goal.
What are your next steps? If you have met your goal, what would you propose as a new goal for the rest of the year?Â
For my next steps, I am going to work on reflecting on my assignments and goals.
I forgot about my learner goal after the mid year reflection, but I would say that I still acheieved my goal. My work ethic has definitely improved a lot since the beginning of the year. I also filled out my journal every day for 100 days in the CGP Grey journal, and I have continued to fill out my journal since. It helps me to reflect on the events of the day. I would say that I met my goal.
