When we were testing, the game Ice Cool really stuck out to me. It was fun and unique and I really liked it. Our group decided to make a Boise river version of the game for the assignment. We made this paper draft in about half an hour. It was simple but fun.
For the second draft, we spent a few days making it. We used card stock instead of paper, and actually colored it. We didn't attach the boxes so you could take it apart at the end of the game. We designed pieces to 3D print, and they turned out good. We had 2/3ers play the game and they really enjoyed it.
For the final draft, we spent a week working on it. We used foam board so that it wouldn't break. We painted it and sealed it, 3D printed more pieces and made ID cards. When you are done playing, you can put the smaller boxes inside the bigger one and put the final one on top to store it. Overall, I am really happy with how it turned out and I think it is fun to play.
