In the fifth grade, students will have the opportunity to learn about proper vocal pedagogy and health while developing their own singing voice using Ken Phillips’ approach, Teaching Kids to Sing, a systematic approach to vocal development.
This curriculum for 5th grade chorus is written with one over-arching Big Idea for all students, grades 5-8:
