8th Grade Art

Overview:

We are very excited for this year’s 8^th grade art curriculum due to the nature of instruction and how it will be carried out. This course will last 1 semester (half year). We will be studying photography and ceramics in which students will be required to complete and turn in 5 projects, 2 photographic, 1 Drawing and 2 ceramic. Students will start out studying ceramics and follow this with digital photography and cyanotype development. Our drawing unit will take place during EAST enrichment. If students remain remote, students will be given a drawing assignment instead of ceramic.
