Welcome!!!  During your Eighth grade year you will have Computer for one semester.  During this semester you will create a computer literacy journal, build and populate a personal website portfolio,  create a 3D model house utilizing 3D modeling program Sketchup, database introduction, and online safety / privacy skills.  You will have the opportunity to learn and explore advanced coding / programming applications GUI, JavaScript and Python. 

Digital Literacy and Computer Science (DLCS) knowledge, reasoning, and skills are essential both to prepare students for personal and civic efficacy in the twenty-first century and to prepare and inspire a much larger and more diverse number of students to pursue the innovative and creative careers of the future.
