Today you are going to fill out the Title Page and the Table of Contents.
Write down your Title and put your name down as author. If you illustrated your own book you could put down that you are the illustrator too.
Start with the title page and give every page a number. Front and back. End with your last page, but don't put a page number on the cover.
Table of Contents
Write down the title of each chapter and the page number. Remember to capitalize the first letter of important words of a title.
You use the Title page to see the Title of your book and who wrote and illustrated it.You use the Table of Contents to see what each chapter will be about. If you read it you will usually learn about the main topics of a nonfiction book. Tell your parents why there is a Title page and Table of Contents and how they may help you.
