Langauge Arts

Go to Wonders Log-in class ZLA2 Mrs. Kitchen's click HERE. Mrs. Kohli's class click HERE (Mrs. Kohli's class is the rubber duck, ZLA2 is 2nd grade, ZLA3 is 3rd grade)

Do 2 minutes of GAMES: Mechanics (controller icon)
Go through all of your vocabulary words: Words (block with a "W")
Read "Clever Doggy"- (book icon) Answer the question Why did the mom have to put on a new lock? Type it in the spot on the left. Capitals and punctuation are graded.
Do 15 minutes of Lexia
Do page 128 of the Grammar Unit.
Read Scholastic News Why Is This River Green
Write these spelling words one time. Cut each letter of each word one at a time. Only do one word at a time. Scramble them up and then put the word back together. Don't mix up the words. Keep them in separate piles. Example:" open" cut out the "o" cut out the "p", cut out the "e", cut out the "n". Mix them all up and put them back together again to spell "open". (This is like when we play Scramble at school.) open, letter, pencil, lady, magnet

Math

Today your are going to take the math test. It is 4 pages long. They are the white papers we gave you in your homework packet. (See pictures to the left.) When you are finished take pictures of all 4 pages and text/email them to Mrs, Kitchen. If you need to shorten this- you may do all the odd problems. Your parents will need to give you permission to shorten. If your parents helped you have them put a "H" by the problem they helped you with. It is okay to have help. It is better to be learning than just guessing. Have integrity! When I get your pictures I will text you what you can eat from the MYSTERY BAG.

Science

Today, you can publish or make your final copy of chapter 3.

Requirements:

Write Chapter 3
Title (Header)
Introductory sentence (Let the reader know you are going to write about mammal or reptile, behaviors, how your animal protects itself.) Hook your reader.
First, (write about if your animal is a mammal or reptile) Remember in 2nd grade you need one detail, but to be on the road to a scholar you can write at least 3 or more details.
Next, (write about if your animals behaviors) Remember in 2nd grade you need one detail, but to be on the road to a scholar you can write at least 3 or more details.
Then (write about how your animal protects itself.) Remember in 2nd grade you need one detail, but to be on the road to a scholar you can write at least 3 or more details.
Write a concluding sentence that sums this chapter up-end with a bang!
