What artists and/or writers inspired or influenced your work?
I would say that my art has been most inspired by modern artists like Jacob Andrews of Drawfee and more classical artists such as Am Cassandre
How do you resonate with your piece? Why is it personal to you?
This piece is personal to me as I have seen these kinds of people who don’t believe in the safety of others and choose live in denial about the health risks of not wearing a mask. Hopefully this cartoon can tell these kinds of people to get educated and learn about the benefits of a mask.
What message do you hope to convey to the reader through your piece?
I am very much someone who believes putting yourself in someone’s shoes, however I simply don’t understand the thought process of these people. I only hope to show these people a new perspective, and that they should practice better social distancing.
