A dream which feels so real

This world you live in

A sense of Illusion

I know its hard without me here

That makes one feel I just saw her

But try to live your life with peace

There I was

It’s okay to be sad

Were all at First Beach

But know I’m alright

Celebrating she made it out

Try to find something new to do

Turkey making jokes

To get your mind off me

The regular ones being stubborn

I will always watch over you

Then there’s me

Continue your life as if

Reflecting at all the events

You see me everyday

That happened so fast

You can do it, I believe in you

About Sofia...

Grade: 11

Bio: She loves to exercise and sports are an important part of her life. She's been on the varsity swim team and track and field throughout middleschool and highschool. She enjoys volunteering with autistic children on a weekly basis with an organization called Friendship Circle. Spirituality, Songwriting and Poetry maintain her soul. Lastly but not least, she loves to travel, especially to Israel over the summers.

What motivated you to write this piece?

Processing and Grieving the loss of my favorite aunt motivated me to write this piece.

Do you write sporadically or regularly?

I write sporadically, when I miss my aunt.

What message do you hope to convey to the reader through your piece?

The message I hope to coney to the reader is Love and hope never die and Love and Hope are the answer.
