Two Worlds

We walk along the same path

same street

same pace

Yet our lives will never be the same

It’s the little things that make us different

each of our little tricks,

little tricks

That keep us from being the same

We are two people in the same place

living in two different worlds

However, it is not our similarities that matter,

but our differences

It’s these small differences that change our course in life

It’s what causes us to make a right instead of a left,

a step backwards instead of forward

These differences are what makes us unique

Our individuality is what makes each and everyone of us special

We may never be the same but I don’t want that to change
