Trips

At Winton we believe that EVERY student should be given the opportunity to take their learning beyond the classroom. These experiences are essential to expanding the horizons of our young people and to help open up their eyes to the wonders of areas such as the arts, heritage, culture, adventure and the natural world.

Most faculty areas run a variety of trips throughout the year and these are carefully planned to suit all interest and ability levels. Theatre trips, visits overseas and several outdoor and adventure trips are just some of the highlights of the school year, which provide rich cultural experiences for our students. We also run the Duke of Edinburgh scheme and of course our busy Motion & Commotion week in the summer term every year,  to encourage pupils to get involved in as many activities beyond the classroom as possible.

Our students have had the opportunity to visit a wealth of educational settings including visits to London, Warner Bros studio’s, Marwell Zoo, Thorpe park, and our annual photography trip to New York, to name just a few.
