This week's theme, whilst we’re all still stuck inside, is all about outdoor learning. We would like you to explore, your local area, looking for signs of Spring, animals and birds and generally just enjoy being outside! If you can't get outside you could always explore the ‘Virtual Forest School’ using the link above. Remember to share some pictures of your outdoor adventures on ClassDojo.

This week’s ‘Wellbeing Wednesday’ is all about LGBTQ+ History. Here at Lea Forest, this is an important topic for us to celebrate and recognise individuals in society that identify as belonging to the LGBTQ+ community. We will be exploring LGBTQ+ history across our curriculum; from art, to music, to science! This is also an opportunity to explore positive relationships, as well as strengthening our understanding and awareness of the world around us.

Our third ‘Wellbeing Wednesday’ is all about SUSTAINABILITY. Mr Clarke shared a letter written by one of our Year 6 pupils in last week's newsletter. In this letter she was asking everyone to take a moment to think about our planet and for us to think about what we can do to help save the planet. Wellbeing Wednesdays also allow you to complete character curriculum tasks, catch-up on class activities and take part in our competition of the week.
