We were delighted to welcome students to our Y6 Transition Day on Thursday 7 July 2022 and also to our Y6 Transition Evening on Tuesday 12 July 2022 along with parents and carers. Year 7 Tutors
Miss Booth (7MBO)
I am really looking forward to being your Year 7 tutor at Broadlands Academy, because to be here at the very start of your journey with us at school is a brilliant experience. You will learn and achieve so much this year, so I am very glad that I can be here to guide you through your first few steps, and to help you settle in. I teach Food Technology and Nutrition, and will be leading the Bite Back Healthy Lifestyle campaign here at the school. In terms of my interests, I love cooking, listening to records (particularly 1960s and 70s music!), walking in the countryside, watching films, and reading books. Fun Fact: Before I became a teacher, I worked as a chef for 10 years - working at famous places such as River Cottage (which was on the telly!).
Mrs Terzi (7ATE)
My name is Mrs Terzi, and I am so excited to get to know all of you! This will be my first year at Broadlands as well, which is wonderful as we will all be starting our journey together. I teach Design and Technology, and will be delighted to see you all exploring such a diverse and practical subject! As far as my interests go; I love anything and everything arty (particularly textiles), cooking, and exploring the outdoors! Fun fact: before I was a teacher, I used to do street performance with puppeted elephants in Bristol and Bath!

Uniform
