The Athletic Trainers' approach to health and wellness emphasizes prevention. By identifying problems

early and educating young athletes about potential risk factors we aim to prevent sudden illnesses or

chronic disease and save our community thousands of dollars in healthcare costs. Providing athletes

and the community with the knowledge on how to live healthier is only one small part of what Athletic

Trainers do.
