Shoulder Program
Although this program was initially designed for baseball pitchers, it can be used by most athletes whose sport involves repetitive overhead activities including baseball and softball position players, volleyball players or quarterbacks.
Weakness in the rotator cuff muscles, weakness in the shoulder blade muscles and tightness in the back of the shoulder are three common issues related to many throwing-related shoulder injuries. The following program addresses these areas and should be done in conjunction with an overall strength/conditioning and throwing program.
