Brief Description of CCA Activities:
Having a rich competitive history and slate of national sailors coming through its ranks, VJC sailing was re-established as part of the Victoria-Cedar Alliance. Sailors from the Victoria School sailing program now have a pathway to progress from 'B' division to 'A' division.
VJC sailing now focuses on the development of 21CCs through sport, and competing in the National School Games.
CCA activities include sea training at the National Sailing Centre and student-led/directed activities such as muscular (strength & endurance) training and video analysis.
The goal for each VJC sailor is to carry themselves with dignity, train in a disciplined manner, overcome challenges & setbacks with determination and finally achieve distinction in competition.
