Dance provides you with the opportunity to discover, develop and showcase the undiscovered dancer in you. As a dancer, you will be given structured training as well as opportunities to choreograph, along with numerous events for you to boost your capabilities and display the craft, most notably in Singapore Youth Festival performances and our very own concert.
Some of our key achievements include first place for Hip-Hop, Contemporary and Modern Expression categories at the Melbourne Crown International Dance Festival and five consecutive years of achieving the Distinction Award at the Singapore Youth Festival. In 2023, VJD was involved in the Singapore National Day Parade where we led a 300-man-strong item (in collaboration with Bedok View Secondary School and Springfield Secondary School).
