Training

The University provides many options for training. Technical training options are provided by ITS. Please visit http://its.umich.edu/training/ to choose appropriate options.

Staff & Faculty can utilize lynda.com, for access to Video training in hundreds of topics taught by industry experts through lynda.com online tutorials.

Instructions:

1. Visit Lynda.com using a web browser.

2. Select "Sign in" near the top right corner.

3. Select "Log in with your organization portal" and enter www.umich.edu in the box.

4. Users will then be taken to a University of Michigan Weblogin screen (starts with https://weblogin.umich.edu) and should enter uniqname and password.

5. On the subsequent confirmation page, clicking the "Confirm" button will redirect back to Lynda.com with the user recognized.

6. Select "No, I've never had an account" on the next page.

7. Enter your email, click "Save".

8. You will now be in the Lynda.com training system. Utilize the search box at the top to find relevant information.
