Operating Systems
ME-IT would prefer to install the operating system on all new computers to provide a consistent and secure environment.
Supporting SPG 601.27, specifically Endpoint Security Administration and the comprehensive endpoint protection guidance, all ME-IT supported U-M owned systems must be managed by ME-IT.
All U-M-owned systems must have Crowdstrike, Tenable Nessus, and our remote admin tool.
ME-IT can install & support the following operating systems:

For Macs, ME-IT now uses U-M's Izzy for Mac Platform as a Service.
