Property Disposition 

ME-IT is pleased to assist with the disposal of any University of Michigan-owned electronic equipment. All items designated for disposal are processed in accordance with university policy through U-M’s Property Disposition website: https://dispo.umich.edu/.

When a faculty or staff member departs from the university, all assigned equipment that is not part of a working experiment will be transferred to Property Disposition. Please note that any revenue generated from surplus items will be returned to the department, rather than to individual labs or employees. These funds are allocated toward the purchase of department-related IT equipment and supporting departmental backup solutions.
