In 1692, there is a hysteria of possible witchcraft happening in Salem, Massachusetts. Young girls are accusing both men and women of being witches. There is no concrete evidence of it. The only "evidence" is the young girls' strange behavior and their accusations that someone is a witch. In a society in which young girls have no voice and no power, this is their chance to be the center of attention in the community. They will have power over adults and control their lives. Accusations of witchcraft are devastating for families. Families can lose everything if a family member is found guilty of witchcraft. This novel is a story in verse of three of the young girls who were the witchcraft accusers.
