Imagine you had a wealthy grandmother who says that your family will be cut out of her will if you do not confess your sin to your grandmother. Your grandmother does not tell you what the sin is or who is the sinner in your family. In order to not be written out of the will, Norrie, Sassy, Jane and their three brothers must write letters to their grandmother confessing their sins and explain why they committed the sin. Their grandmother is so powerful and has so much influence in their town that everyone calls her Almighty. Will they confess the right sins, and will their grandmother accept their apologies and restore the family inheritance? Norrie, Sassy, and Jane go into great detail about their lives. In writing the letters the girls realize they have more in common with their grandmother than they thought. Will their apologies be enough and did they really commit any sins?
