It was in the mid of August when Sec. Sid Lapeña, directed all the TESDA Regional Offices to conduct training in Contact Tracing Level II in support to the effort of the government in mitigating the COVID-19 pandemic. With this, TESDA announced to the public that the free Contact Tracing course will be offered this September, most especially in regions with high number of COVID-19 cases. TESDA highlights the importance of putting extra attention to this program given the urgency of the need for more contact tracers in the country. On his message during the virtual launching, Sec. Lapeña mentioned that as the government continues to pursue aggressive testing, tracing, and treatment, as among the strategies to fight COVID19, TESDA welcomes the opportunity to be of service and at the front line of this efforts, along with the Department of Health, and other partner agencies, like the LGUs and the Red Cross.

Today, TESDA-NCR is very happy that the region finally commenced its first Contact Tracing Level II training under the MuntiParLasTaPat District, headed by District Director Atty. Balmyrson Valdez. The course will run for 15 days, and it will be a full online training. Partner LGUs of the TESDA MuntiParLasTaPat District will facilitate the graduates of this course for their job placement upon completion of the program. Further details about the course qualifications and requirements may be requested directly from the TESDA MuntiParLasTaPat District.
