1st Poverty Reduction, Livelihood and Employment Cluster (PRLEC) Meeting for CY 2020

TESDA National Capital Region conducted its 1st PRLEC Meeting at Gabriela Silang, TESDA Women’s Center, today, March 11, 2020. The meeting was participated by different agencies such as: TESDA, DTI, DOLE, DOT, JTF- NCR, DILG, PDF- CMOG, NICA, NTF- ELCAC, MMDA.

Dir. Balmyrson M. Valdez, officer-in-charge of TESDA- NCR, presided the meeting sharing the importance of the Poverty Reduction Livelihood and Employment Cluster with its continuous expansion to different districts of the region.

The first convergence program for 2020 shall extend community-based skills training on Pastry Making and will benefit the out of school youths and mothers residing in Barangay Baseco. The program aims to capacitate the target beneficiaries for employment and livelihood opportunities. The cluster member agencies have given their full support and commitment to participate in the convergence program.
