380 STEP Beneficiaries Graduated in QC
A total of three hundred eighty (380) Special Training for Employment Program (STEP) beneficiaries graduated last August 10, 2016 coming from District IV of Quezon City. The graduation ceremony was held at Amoranto Stadium with the Hon. Vice Mayor Josefina “Joy” Belmonte as guest of honor of speaker. The following were the courses finished by the graduates: 1) Perform Preventive Maintenance On Motorcycle Mechanical and electrical Systems Leading to Motorcycle/Small Engine Servicing NC II; 2) Cake Making Leading to Bread and Pastry Production NC II; 3) Maintain and Repair Electronically-controlled Appliances Leading to Consumer Electronics Servicing NC II; and Hilot (Wellness Massage) NC II.

In her speech Vice Mayor Belmonte emphasized the value of skills training they have acquired which have enabled them to become productive and employable individuals. The occasion also marked the turnover of starter toolkits to the graduates in order for them to continuously put into practice their acquired skills and the giving of their training allowance beside the usual training awarded.
