Looking back at my old list of goals and what has been achieved, I can say that I am happy with my progress, even though I could not achieve all of my targets.
The one and only target that I did not achieve was getting my Omani driver's license. I visited Oman for just three weeks this break, and unfortunately I prioritized other things ahead of my license. I will try to get my license next winter, however that may not be possible as I still need to practice how to drive.
As for my volunteering goal, I am happy to say that I have completed it. I volunteered on many occasions throughout the school year, including some major events such as UWC Opening Ceremony Day and the Graduation 2018 Ceremony. I volunteered as a Merch club representative during those events, and my job was basically to sell products to the parents and visitors. My CAS project also traveled all the way to Malaysia to host a couple of workshop for deprived Rohingya refugee children, and that was a memorable and rewarding volunteering experience.
As for reading two Shakespearean plays, I have read and understood both Hamlet and Macbeth. This was not an easy process, however, I feel like it is a good practice to improve my vocabulary.
I have already reflected upon the extracurricular clubs goal, and the Japanese language goal, and so I don't really feel the need to reflect once again, however I can confidently say that I have improved, and am still improving with my Japanese language goal.
This year at UWC ISAK Japan has been such a rewarding year with memorable experiences, and I hope that next year will be an even better one, and that I will be able to completely achieve all of my goals.
