When I entered my first Critical Thinking class, I was surprised that this class was not all about assignments and paperwork. Our teachers asked us to line up in order based on different categories such as the date of birth, number of siblings and other different categories. I really enjoyed this activity as it gave me the first insight of what our upcoming three weeks would look like in the Critical Thinking class. The second day activities were also enjoyable as we were given different communities and had to come up with different solutions to the problems of those communities. I was the first 'chief' of my group in this activity and managed to develop my questioning and thinking skills. The third day activity was the hardest and most difficult one. We had to arrange some bottles based on a given riddle to make Harry Potter pass through without getting poisoned. I had many difficulties with my teammates in this activity because we were hopeless and had many disagreements. We decided to divide the parts/lines of the riddle equally and solve the puzzle in a step by step process. The results of this tactic worked out and we solved the puzzle at the end of the day and managed to get it right. Another activity we had was to determine whether a certain page was credible or not. I, alongside my friend, had lots of fun in this activity as we died of laughter due to the stupid but funny websites we were given to read. CTR has been a really fun class so far and I hope that we will have even more fun in the future.
