Setting up goals is an easy process. One can just keep rambling and rambling on with new goals without serious consideration. However, it is when a person sets serious SMART goals that he gets the inspiration and passion to achieve those goals.
In the Takatuf Scholars Programme, we got the opportunity to set our own SMART goals in the Summer Workshop and then view what goals we have achieved in the Winter Workshop. While I achieved most of my goals, there were a few (1-2) that I did not achieve. I will share my new list of goals that I aim to achieve by the summer of 2019
New goals:
1) Get my Omani driver’s license.
2) Improve my Japanese language skills and memorize 200 Kanji.
3) Volunteer within the school community for at least 20 hrs.
4) Join at least 4 extracurricular clubs.
5) Explore cities other than Tokyo in Japan (Osaka, Hokkaido)
