Displays of Steam Engines, Antique Tractors, Hit and Miss Engines, and Antique Farm Machinery. Daily Demonstrations. There are two fishing lakes that are on the southern side of town directly behind the Boone Village Shopping Center. They are open to the public year-round. The larger lake contains catfish, bass, perch, bluegill and crappie.

Bell’s View Park

Small park located at 8th and High Streets overlooking the Missouri River. It has two
benches and an observation area ideal for watching trains and the river.
Cobblestone Street Park
5th & Main Sts, Boonville, MO
This Park is a historical preservation project that features a restored section of the original cobblestone street built in the around 1832, and was part of the original commercial district. The street extended from the original river wharves to Main Street. The Park also highlights the history of the old Missouri River Bridge built in 1923-24.
Harley Park
Sante Fe Trail, Boonville, MO
Twillman Field is located in the park and home to several baseball games. The park also includes playgrounds, picnic pavilions with grills, and picnic shelters.
Harley Park is historically significant as the home of 4 Hopewell Indian mounds. It has an overlook of the Missouri River, recently having a Lewis and Clark campsite marker placed at the overlook. It was the sight of several WPA projects.
Johnston’s Park
7th Street near Chestnut, Boonville, MO
Located on Seventh Street, is directly across the street for SS Peter and Paul Catholic School. The .5 acre park is undeveloped and serves as open space for the neighborhood children and doubles as an extension of the school playground.
Kemper Park or Frederic T Kemper Park
757 3rd Street, Boonville, MO
The 46 acre park includes a football field, a disc golf course, soccer fields, a lake, and a baseball field. The park is a venue for many local festivals and events, like Pedalers Jamboree.
YMCA: The Johnston Field House, located within the park, is home to the Boonslick Heartland YMCA, offering a pool, gym, and basketball courts.
Lion's Memorial Park

Contains 13 acres on the east side of town on Mueller Street. It contains two picnic shelters, two tennis courts, an outdoor basketball court, playground, skatepark, softball field, restrooms, and a 25 meter swimming pool.
Morgan Street Sculpture Park
Morgan & Main Streets, Boonville, MO
This park features a statue of Hannah Cole and also bronze busts on pedestals of prominent early Cooper County residents who were very influential in their fields: David Barton, George Caleb Bingham, Frederick T. Kemper, James Milton Turner, Rev. C. T. Vivian, and Walter Williams.
Rolling Hills Park
Located on Ashley Road, is the largest Park in the system containing 70 acres. There is currently one softball field and one large picnic shelter and two small single shelters, 2 playgrounds and concession building. There is a ½ mile nature trail with plans for additional trails. There is a one-mile loop drive, which is used extensively by residents for exercise. Deer and turkey are abundant in the Park.
Veteran's Memorial Park
Located at Tenth and Morgan Streets, contains 5 acres. The Park contains a picnic shelter and playground.
Water Street Dog Park
Located on Water Street with a river view, it contains .75 fenced, well-maintained acres and includes a picnic shelter.

Safe C.R.I.B.S., which stands for Community Resources, Infant Beds, and Support, provides infants without a safe place to sleep a pack and play crib. The crib is delivered to the family and is followed by 5 additional home visits focusing on family wellbeing and child safety. CRIBS is open to low-income families or those experiencing high parenting stress
Lend and Learn Libraries are a free, fun place where parents can play with their children ages 0-5, interact with other parents, and ask trained staff questions about development or other concerns. Toys are available for check out so families can extend learning and play at home. Eligibility: open to anyone caring for a child under the age of 5.

KATY Trail State Park - Boonville Trailhead
Boonville is one of the larger communities offering amenities for trail goers on the Katy Trail. Our new Visitor Center sits directly next to the Katy Trail and provides restrooms with changing rooms, an attached museum (free to the public), trail maps and merchandise, as well as drinks and snacks for rejuvenation.
KATY Trailhead | Rivers, Rails & Trails Museum
Learn about wagon, train and steamboat history. The visitors center side features lots of brochures and information for the area and some great souvenirs for the Katy trail and Boonville. For those traveling on the trail there are snacks, and beverages for sale to recharge and a seating area to rest or wait for rest of your party.
KATY Depot
The KATY Depot is the only remaining Spanish Mission style depot left, out of five that were built on the MKT Railroad. Built in 1911-1912, the depot is on the National Register of Historic Places. It has been fully restored and houses the Boonville Area Chamber of Commerce office. At one time, Boonville was a popular stop and as many as 25-30 trains came through town each day.

Boonville’s Christmas Festival held the first Saturday in December. Several events held throughout the day including a Holiday Market, a Holiday Homes Tour, Caroling, great holiday specials at the downtown shops, Santa, a Parade, and a Tree Lighting at the end of the day.

Area users enjoy opportunities for fishing (there are three lakes) and wildlife viewing. For the hunting enthusiast, the area supports deer, turkey, squirrel, rabbit and quail. Hikers and birders find a seasonal array of migrant and resident songbirds including summer tanagers, woodpeckers, vireos, warblers, and sparrows.
