Step 1: Login to Quantify Ninja
Login using LastPass or the password your manager gave you.
Step 2: Go to Automated Messages
Click on Automated Messages on the side menu.
Step 3: Export Data from Quantify Ninja
On the top right corner click on Export to CSV, to receive to your email all the current templates data.
A pop-up window will appear saying "A tab delimited file will be sent to your email" - Click OK.
The templates data will be sent as a CSV file to the seller's email connected to Quantify Ninja.
Note! — to get access to the CSV file you should either have access to your seller's email, or ask from Quantify Ninja support to connect your own email to the same account.
Step 4: Open the attached CSV File
Go to your email, and get the CSV file that was sent from Quantify Ninja. There are 2 ways to open it, you can choose the one that works best for you.
METHOD 1:
Open the email sent from Quantify Ninja and click on the attached file.
Highlight the entire table and copy its content.
Open a new blank Excel Spreadsheet.
Paste the templates data to the Excel Spreadsheet.
METHOD 2:
Open the email sent from by Quantify Ninja and download the attached file.
Save it to your workspace.
Open a new blank Excel Spreadsheet.
In the top ribbon go to Data tab.
In Get & Transform Data section click From Text/CSV icon.
In the file select window navigate to where you saved the CSV file, select it and click on Import.
Make sure that the Delimiter is Tab.
Click Load.
Step 5: Open the attached CSV File
Once opened you get all the data of your templates — In particular we're interested in Template Subject column, and in Open Percentage.
Step 6: Decide if any template needs improving
If any email open rate falls below the desired KPI alert your seller, and decide if it needs optimizing.
NOTE — You can't make any decision if less than 100 emails were sent for a specific title.
Do any of the templates need improvement?
If the answer is NO — the SOP ends.
If the answer is YES — proceed to next steps.
Step 7: Record all templates data
So we don't lose the data we have, add the title text, open rate & emails sent to the data section in this portal, right here.
Titles that are not active anymore, remove from the Active table, and move to the Inactive.
After update, change the Last Updated date to the date of today.
Step 8: Create an experiment
Decide on a new title to experiment with.
Move the old title to the inactive section.
Step 9: Go back to Ninja, Automated Messages
Duplicate the template that needs changing.
Step 10: In the new template change the title
Use the title that was decided upon with your seller.
Step 11: Activate the new template & Erase the old template
Make sure the new template is activated, and the old template is deactivated.
Note!
Old template should be generally erased - We remove it to keep Ninja's interface clean and organized.
Before erasing the old template, get your seller's approval for that.
