Academic Grading Policy:
50% Tests/Labs/Projects
35% Classwork/Activities/Mini-Labs
15% Homework - assignments obtained in class.
Unapproved late work is not accepted.
All grades are final! No make-up work or *packets.
*Quarterly learning packets (QLMs) are issued through the guidance office only! Ms. Wiggen has no say in when/how they are collected or graded!
Excused Absences:
See class binder for missed work.
Teacher sign off is required for all make-up assignments - it is your responsibility to pick up your work!
Bell Ringers / Warm-ups are checked off daily. If you are absent, you are still responsible for getting those warm-ups and coming up to have them checked off (excused only). You may still get partial credit for completed warm-ups that are not checked off. If you loose your warm-up Sheet you may download a copy from the downloads page under "Home."
Materials: Materials vary from course type. To find out what materials you will need: please see the syllabus for your course (found on tab menus above). All classes are allowed to complete work in navy blue or black ink or pencil. No other colors please.
CLASS NORMS & EXPECTATIONS
1. Be on time to class.
2. Come to class prepared-bring all materials with you to class including your textbook, notebook, paper, pen, pencil, etc.
3. All graded assignments will be done in Navy blue or black ink or pencil. No Exceptions!
4. Stay in your assigned seat. Stay out of the Lab area until directed.
5. No food anytime! No Grooming, No Head Cover.
6. Class work and homework should be turned in on time. No late work!
7. Be courteous of others and their property. Disrespect is not tolerated!
8. Respect all living and nonliving things in the classroom/Lab at all times.
