What is chemistry??

Simply put, chemistry is the study of matter and the changes it undergoes.

Are there different types of "Chemistry?"

Most definitely! General Chemistry (what we're learning) focuses on chemistry that only involves the exchange of electrons. Organic Chemistry focuses on the chemistry of compounds that deal specifically with carbon. Nuclear chemistry focuses on changes in the nucleus of atoms.
