I am a science teacher at Frederick Douglass High School (FDHS). I teach Chemistry, Biology, Environmental and dabble in other content areas such as art, and technology. I graduated from Frostburg State University (FSU) with a Masters in teaching and Bachelors in Biology.
Currently, I hold certifications for Chemistry, Biology, and Earth & Space Sciences. As proud member of the Chesapeake Bay Foundation (CBF), Chesapeake Bay Environmental Center (CBEC), and African Wildlife Foundation (AWF), I strive to create a learning culture that is environmentally aware of our local and world wide impacts.
When not in the classroom you might find me jumping on rocks, playing board games, backpacking, or paddling in a kayak at one of Maryland's awesome state parks.
