What's that Bird??
Each week in Biology, we will discover a new North American bird found in Maryland. We will learn how to identify it, what it sounds like, and where (and when) we might see this bird in Maryland. A maximum of 1 question per quiz (prior to the HSA exam) is allowed for bird of the week identification. Click the image of the bird on the biology main page for details about what it looks like, where it lives and what it eats!
We will be using all about the birds (Cornell Lab) website and Maryland DNR field guide as resources for our bird list.
