How does the process of scientific inquiry relate to biology?
Biology is a life science course. Together we will investigate the properties of the living world and ask questions (inquire) about this awesome place we call home (earth!). We will ask questions like "what is the smallest living unit?," "how are do different organisms survive the different pressures of their surroundings" "what are genes and how do they work?" and "why are humans so special?"
We will learn not only how to discover answers to some of these questions, but how to ask great questions to begin with. Welcome to the study of life - welcome to biology!
