OUT: Explain preemptive strike in your own words; what does it do? Explain how the paragraphs match the thesis statement.

MAKE UP WORK: Take notes on the explanation of the preemptive strike. Practice developing preemptive strikes by writing a preemptive strike on either students should not have to wear uniforms or college should be free. Analyze and dissect the persuasive essay-how many paragraphs, what does the thesis and topic sentences look like, what does the preemptive strike look like? Looking at the Power Point, write a persuasive essay outline for one of the previous topics. You can submit the notes (include the IN and OUT) to my in-box.
