PowerTeacher Pro offers several built in report options, many of which can be helpful with report card pick up conversations, remediation planning, and other one-on-one conversations with students.
If you’d like to see how grades for a class (or section) are distributed, you can find a quick bar graph by clicking on the Progress option on the left side of the PowerTeacher Pro home screen:
Clicking on any of the boxes on the right side of the Progress page will display a report showing the number of absences, missing, late, and incomplete assignments for each student in your class. Assignments must be marked by teachers as missing, late, or incomplete for them to be counted as such in the report.
Clicking on the Reports option on the left side of the PowerTeacher Pro home screen will reveal several options to export grade data as either PDFs or Excel documents.
Final Grades Report creates a PDF with each student and their overall grade for the class
Individual Student Report creates a PDF with a unique section for each student showing that student’s overall grade, grade on each individual assignment, and grade by category. (Essentially, this report is a slightly more detailed version of what you see when you click on a student’s class grade in PowerSchool). This report can be useful to share with caregivers and/or for students to use for individual reflection.
Missing Assignment Report creates a PDF showing each assignment you’ve entered for each class along with a roster of students who have not completed that assignment.
Multi-Function Assignment Report creates a PDF showing each assignment you’ve entered with how each student in your class scored on that assignment.
Scoresheet Report creates an excel version of your gradebook. This can be useful if you wish to do some analysis on your grades other than what’s available within PowerTeacher Pro and/or if you’d like to compare assignment level data with data from another source.
Standards Grades Report is only useful if you are using a standards based grading system.
Student Roster creates a PDF with the names of the students in your classes.
After you submit a report you will need to click on the Bell in the top right hand corner of the PowerTeacher Pro screen to open up the Report Queue. This page will show all of the reports you’ve generated. Clicking on the relevant report name will automatically download the report to your computer.
