On the "Quick Export" (or any other export page) click "Submit."
On the pop-up window, select "Open with Microsoft Excel" if that is an option.
If it is not an option, select "Other" in the drop-down box.
In the Finder window, select "Applications," then "Microsoft Office [version]," then Microsoft Excel. Click "Open."
Check the box labeled "Do this automatically for files like this from now on."
Click "OK" to open the file.
On the "Quick Export" (or any other export page) click "Submit."

If that is not an option, select "Browse" next to the "Open with" option.
In the "Choose Helper Application" window that pops up, if Microsoft Excel is not an option, click "Browse" again.
In the "Program Files" window, select "Microsoft Office," then "Office [#]" (number will vary depending on your version of Office, select the highest number if multiple folders exist) and then select "EXCEL."
Click Open.
Check the box labeled "Do this automatically for files like this from now on."
Click "OK" to open the file.
If you accidentally did not set Excel as your default application to open exported .txt (text) files in Excel, you can follow the instructions here to re-set the option.
