INNOVATION

• Levi Roots on the Dragon's Den. A great example of an innovative sales pitch. This has worked really well with EIB and BMB groups. I often use as a fun ending and play while young people are completing M&E. I play to the end of the song and add in the fact that Levi later makes a basic, major error with his figures. However, his innovative, creative approach meant that he still secured funding.

SOCIAL ENTERPRISE

• Good, clear, visual explanation of social enterprise narrated by founder of Big Issue, John Bird. Useful way to reinforce learning and it's only 1 minute and a half.

• Video explanation of Toms. It's quite long so I normally just show the first minute. I have found it really useful for groups that find it hard to imagine the impact of social enterprise.

• Video description of Fifteen. It's narrated by young people on the course. It's worked really well with a challenging group at a PRU who had low confidence and felt that social enterprise wasn't for them. I tend to show first 2 minutes.
