Most of these skills will be assessed when you are observed delivering an enterprise session. However, it is also useful to think about when and how you can encourage enterprise teams. Work through the following examples to practise the practical application of the MyBnk enterprise approach.
EXAMPLE: Watch this inspiring video about young entrepreneurs in the UK. What skills have these young entrepreneurs used? If you met them, what examples would you give them when and how they have used this skills? e.g. tenacity of Louis in setting up his own business despite failing his exams.
EXAMPLE: Watch Varun Agarwal talking about how he started India's largest college merchandise company and becoming a bestselling author. What skills has Varun gained and developed as a young entrepreneur?
EXAMPLE: The following is an interview with a young entrepreneur, Jane. It's a long video but watch the first 10 minutes to see how the interviewer encourages Jane to reflect on her enterprise with a series of open questions.
EXAMPLE: Watch Samata reflecting on her fashion business. How could she improve her project? What three, clear practical suggestions could you give her?
EXAMPLE: Watch this young entrepreneur describing the skills that she has gained and developed running her own shop. What are her main successes? What would you tell this young entrepreneur about her successes?
EXAMPLE: Watch these two teams in the Young Apprentice from 4:19- to end of the clip. How are the teams working together? How effective is each team and what are the skills of each team?
EXAMPLE: Watch the Junior Apprentices' pitch of the Bottle of Water from 8mins 27secs to end of the clip. What questions would you ask to help the team assess the cost efficiency of their product?
