THE ENTIRE CLASS WILL LISTEN TO THIS 36 MINUTE PODCAST TOGETHER.
BEFORE STARTING THE PODCAST EACH STUDENT SHOULD DO THE FOLLOWING:
1. Get out a your current events notebook. Open to the lecture notes section & title a new page "Pod Save the World". While you listen to the podcast you will take notes on what you hear.
the goal is to take notes on what is being said as a way to help you in the discussions that you will have. Also, because you will be writing a reflective essay on the podcast you will want to take good notes to help you include details in your essay.
2. I have left you an outline (below) of the topics and breaks in the podcast to help you follow along.
3. The sub will stop/pause the podcast at commercial breaks. During this break you will have 3-5 minutes of conversation.
Turn to a neighbor. Help one another process and understand what you just heard. Check in with what other people have in their notes and share details to help one another.
