You will work with one other student.
You and your partner will select one of the news sources from the list provided.
Study a News Source
You and your partner will go to the webpage of this news source and link to the “INTERNATIONAL” or “WORLD” news page embedded on that site.
study the stories on this page.
Map the News Stories on Your Site
Use the world map provided by your teacher and locate the place/s on the map that are primarily involved in each of the stories on your site. (If there are more than 20 stories on your page, you may limit your mapping to 20).
Mark with a colored marker or pen the place on the map where the story took place.
Create a Poster/Display of your Map and Story Headlines -
Attach your map to a larger piece of work paper.
Write the headline for each of your stories around the outside of your map and draw a line to the relevant location/s on the map.
