In our next class you will be taking your next current events quiz. In preparation, you will spend about 20 minutes of class today reading and studying global news. Go to the sites recommended on the "News Sources" tab to the left and read and study the important news stories from around the world today.
Once you have read and studied, complete the form below and suggest 4 questions you would like to suggest for the current events quiz. Remember that good questions good be chosen for the quiz on Friday - so consider writing questions on the major stories covered by multiple international sources.
3. Vice Videos
Vice is an on-line news service that covers unique and some times gritty stories. You are going to watch 1 or 2 stories (depending on how much time you have as a class) from Vice. The videos are each around 30 minutes.
You should take notes and be prepared to discuss and respond to questions in our next class based on each video.
