What qualifies as an international current event?
international current events are any events that are in the news on the day you are searching/reading. These stories have a significant connection to events or issues in countries other than the US.
international current events can involve the US and US foreign policy, however avoid stories that are specifically about issues exclusive to the US.
Examples of acceptable INTERNATIONAL CURRENT EVENTS:

“NATO Meeting Warns of Tension Between the West and Russia”
Examples of NOT acceptable CURRENT EVENTS:
“Former New York Mayor Goes Back to Work at his News Service”
