LAXMAN PUBLIC SCHOOL (11TH FEBRUARY 2025)

Laxman Public School celebrated its much-awaited Annual Sports Day on 11th February 2025 with great enthusiasm and fervour. The event was graced by esteemed dignitaries, including School Vice Chairperson, Madam Pallavi Aggarwal, Member of the Managing Committee, Mr. Bharat Aggarwal, School Manager, Mr. B.M. Mudgal, Head of School, Mr. D.N. Tiwari, and Vice Principal, Ms. Seema B. Mishra. 

The Sports Meet was officially declared open by Madam Pallavi Aggarwal, marking the beginning of an exciting day filled with athleticism, discipline, and teamwork. The event witnessed an overwhelming participation of approximately 800 students from Classes 3 to 6, who showcased their agility and sportsmanship across various competitions. The audience, consisting of around 300 to 400 parents, cheered enthusiastically, adding to the vibrant atmosphere of the day. 

The students participated in Aerobics, Yoga, Taekwondo, Mass PT, Flat Races, and Relay Races, displaying their hard work and dedication. Their synchronized movements, energy, and discipline reflected their commitment and rigorous training under the able guidance of their teachers. A special highlight of the day was the Parents' Flat Race, where enthusiastic parents actively participated, adding excitement and fostering a spirit of camaraderie between students and their families. 

The meticulous planning and smooth execution of the event were made possible under the guidance and motivation of the Head of School and Vice Principal. The entire program was efficiently prepared by Ms. Seema Kathuria, Coordinator of Classes 5 & 6, along with Ms. Neeru Gupta, Coordinator of Classes 3 & 4.  

The highlight of the event was the Prize Distribution Ceremony, where the dignitaries felicitated the winners, including both students and parents, with medals and certificates, encouraging them to continue striving for excellence in sports. The Head of School delivered an inspiring speech, emphasizing the importance of sports in shaping character, instilling discipline, and fostering a spirit of teamwork among students. 

A special note of appreciation was extended to Mr. Gursharan (Admin Officer) for overseeing all arrangements, the Sports Department for their tireless efforts, and the teachers-in-charge of various activities who trained and guided the students throughout the month-long practice sessions. The event concluded with a vote of thanks, leaving behind cherished memories of yet another successful Sports Day at Laxman Public School.
